’There’s something about a tractor’ …
The friendly relationship between National Trust of Guernsey and Guernsey Vintage and Classic Tractor Club goes back many years.
In earlier times and before Les Caches Farm was fully opened as a heritage site, the tractors would meet once a year on the Courtyard at The Folk and Costume Museum before setting off for ‘The First Run’, usually in March or early April.
Since 2018, we’ve been able to add Les Caches Farm as another meeting point for the tractors and tractor fans, with what we fondly call 'The Spring Run’ when they park up at the end of a run, within the agricultural setting of Les Caches.
Showcasing vintage and classic tractors amongst National Trust of Guernsey places is a natural fit and something that we look forward to, each and every time. Here's a glance at 2021 Spring Run - and for more, see here
