Overview
Please join us on Monday 6 July for the much-loved Lé Viaer Marchi, a lively and atmospheric evening celebrating local food, crafts and island life.
As Saumarez Park comes alive, visitors can wander between stalls brimming with artisan produce, handmade goods and irresistible treats. With its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and plenty to discover, Lé Viaer Marchi is the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening with family and friends.
This year's programme includes an enhanced children's area featuring traditional games and entertainment, alongside a stilt walker, juggler and magician. The ever-popular Boys' Brigade Brass Band will return, while heritage displays and demonstrations will offer fascinating insights into Island traditions.
Organisers are particularly pleased that children aged 15 and under continue to enjoy free admission, hopefully making the event an affordable evening out for families. Sponsored by Ravenscroft Capital, Lé Viaer Marchi remains the National Trust of Guernsey's most important annual fundraising event, helping to support the Trust's ongoing work to protect and celebrate Guernsey's natural and built heritage.
Whether you come to browse, sample, chat or simply soak up the ambience, this traditional gathering is a joyful celebration of Guernsey’s creativity, community and heritage.
Known as the event that truly heralds the start of the island’s summer, Lé Viaër Marchi is indeed a very fine reason to celebrate. We look forward to welcoming you!
We are most grateful to Ravenscroft Capital for their generous sponsorship of Lé Viaer Marchi, our major annual fundraising event.
