Gill Harrison Art at The Park

Overview

A combination of watercolour, acrylic and oil paintings by local artist Gill Harrison forms the penultimate Art at The Park exhibition for 2022, aptly named 'Island Blue'.

Inspired daily by the light and colour of the sea, reflections in the sand and changing scenery as tides ebb and flow, she loves to try to capture the moment. Gill also creates Cyanotypes, an unusual camera-free form of photography, whereby the image is developed by sunlight. These are usually floral photograms, which contrast with her landscape paintings, whilst her love of blue is still apparent.

Opening early Autumn, Gill's work perfectly transports us back to the sparkling seasons of 2022 and magnificent beauty of Guernsey's coastal scenery.
