‘Bits and Buttons’ - new for this year and launching at the Summer Courtyard Concerts from Saturday 14 July.

An opportunity to buy items, drawn from our unique collection of vintage haberdashery. Whether you are looking for items for art projects, fashion designs or general textile repair, we have something for all tastes. “Want to make your look, more your own? Well, here is your chance to buy the unusual, the classic, the bohemian …...vintage buttons! We have an amazing range in glass, horn, bakelite, mother of pearl, metal etc, so come and have a rummage and get creative!” – Caro Drake, Volunteer Costume Curator, National Trust of Guernsey Folk and Costume Museum. A large selection of items will be on offer at each of the Summer Courtyard Concerts and later this year, at the museum's Christmas shop from 16 November. If you are interested in purchasing at other times, stock is stored at the Folk and Costume Museum and we are happy to bring it out upon request. We can arrange a group visit for interested friends to have a look and a root around. Launching 'Bits and Buttons' from 2.30pm Saturday 14 July 2018 ahead of  Guernsey Welsh Male Voice Choir Concert, starting at 3pm.
