Welcome to our Christmas Courtyard Market

Welcome to our Christmas Courtyard Market on Monday 13 December from 5pm – 8pm at one of Guernsey's favourite festive events held in National Trust of Guernsey heritage surroundings, at Saumarez Park.

For 2021 we welcome magician Lars Henningsen who will put on a magic show for all ages in the Carriages Exhibition Room. Stalls are laid out in and around all other outbuildings, hosted by talented artisan crafters and – weather permitting – traditional Christmas carols around the Courtyard tree will be lead by Guernsey Glee Singers, conducted by Lydia Pugh.

Food stalls abound with the Trust hosting traditional market food with Frankfurters, fried onions, buttered rolls from Senners, then Guernsey Gâche and the naughty but nice Senners doughnuts. Curries for all dietary requirements are warmly presented by Amchi Bus in the Guernsey Food Tram and of course, Guernsey Bean Jar is a perennial popular, provided by Mint Brasserie. Their Bean Jar has proved very popular at recent Trust events, with one visitor commenting that the vegetarian Bean Jar was the best she had ever tasted. Good to know!

Park at Saumarez Park, or come along by Bus 41, 42 for access to the park through numerous entrances.
Parking may be congested, so if you can find a friendly helper-elf for drop offs and pick ups, even better.
Please bring torches to light your way to and from the event.
