Christmas Shops open soon

Christmas with National Trust of Guernsey

Our Christmas Shops open on Friday 17 November!

The Museum Christmas Shop at Saumarez Park opens at 10am. The Victorian Christmas Shop at 26 Cornet Street opens at 11am after being officially opened by our Patron Lt. Gov. Lt. General Richard Cripwell CB, CBE and Mrs. Louise Cripwell.

Both shops are beautifully stocked with gifts for all ages, including delicacies that enjoy a special Christmas spotlight. Both shops have a carefully chosen selection of books to treasure and share, not to mention traditional toys and exquisite decorations.

The Victorian Shop excels at offering gifts for the creative homemaker, and those who appreciate attention to detail, fine cards, and books. The Museum Shop embraces all of the above, with a wide selection of hard-to-come-by toys, including a magnificent pirate shop and dolls house. The early bird does catch the worm … stocks of special items are extremely limited. For both shops, there are joyful surprises all around and in each corner.

The Museum Christmas Shop at Saumarez Park: open Tuesday to Sunday 10am-4.30pm (closed Mondays) | Access-friendly with nearby parking | Bus routes: 41 and 42 | Mulled wine and mincepies each Friday | special Monday opening for The Christmas Courtyard Market on 11 December, 5pm-8pm.

The Victorian Christmas Shop at 26 Cornet Street: open Monday to Saturday 11am-5pm (closed Sundays) | Access: a slope can be arranged to help wheelchair users into the shop. Regrettably and due to the heritage nature of the building, only the first part of the shop is accessible to wheelchairs | Late night shopping each Thursday during December with mulled wine and mincepies.

We do hope you will visit and experience the atmospheric Christmas lovingly curated by our wonderful teams.

Both shops close on Wednesday 21 December.
