Folk & Costume Museum - Last chance to experience 1960's Guernsey

Folk and Costume Museum | Heritage

Don't miss your chance to come and see the current 2013 special exhibits at the Folk & Costume Museum before we close at the end of this month.

Come and see if you would still wear the fashions of 50 years ago! The 1960's were dominated by fashions for young people, the mini skirt and the poncho. The 1960's exhibit displays a selection of day and evening wear vividly illustrating how Guernsey people interpreted the fashions of the period. Remember all National Trust members have FREE ENTRY to the museum so why not come and experience  the 1960's along with all the other special exhibits on the Lace Collection and Guernsey Cow before it's too late. You may even wish to start Christmas shopping early as the museum shop which as always has a wide selection of gifts and toys ideal as stocking fillers for all ages.

The Folk & Costume Museum will close on Thursday October 31st. The museum will reopen on Friday November 15th for our traditional Christmas Shop, which runs until Saturday December 21st.
