Geocaching - a modern day treasure hunt with National Trust Guernsey

Geocaching

The National Trust Guernsey is delighted to share some beautiful landscapes with island Geocachers and visitors from around the world. Our Geocaches, always placed on Trust land, will take you throughout the Island, from sheltered pine forests on a seaside peninsular, to verdant pathways alongside a babbling brook, to the rare sight of a flowering orchid field, and more.  Our visitors have often commented that finding the Geocache, led them to a place that they would otherwise, never have known existed. We have multi-cache trails, single Geocaches and are always building the portfolio of more Trust places to visit. Our sweet spots here in Guernsey are often logged and move on with 'trackable' Geocaches, which are taken off and journey around the world, to be picked up by others to enjoy and find out the island of Guernsey and National Trust of Guernsey.  The visitors log book of comments to National Trust of Guernsey places, is a pleasure and always exciting to read. Our deep thanks go to Claire Hyland, volunteer for National Trust of Guernsey who, together with her husband and family, have created some ingenious, stunning and perfectly simple Geocaches for the Trust. Geocaching with National Trust of Guernsey is a wonderful way to gather friends and families in the big outdoors, to have a lot of fun and find some beautiful places, together.  Or, as our visitors also say, 'lovely to sit awhile and think' ... on your own.
