It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. 

The Duke of Edinburgh Award programme founded by Prince Philip in 1956, has brought many volunteers to our public-facing properties over the years, particularly The Victorian Shop and Parlour at 26 Cornet Street. Their valuable volunteer help has been truly appreciated by the National Trust of Guernsey and will always be welcomed.

Our thoughts are with Her Majesty The Queen and The Royal Family.
