NT UK properties to enjoy the glory of yesteryear

National Trust Matters

Selected National Trust properties are to return to the convivial glory of yesteryear.  Upmarket events company Rhubarb is planning spectacular occasions in iconic properties in London and the Home Counties, with the revenue being invested in the preservation of the venues. Petworth House (pictured)  Osterley Park & House and Stowe  are among the chosen properties. Ben Duffy, commercial development consultant for the National Trust, said the partnership came about because of the organisation's aim to bring its properties to life and allow people to enjoy them in new ways. "Some of our beautiful properties were originally created to host lavish functions and dinners and today make the perfect setting for a wide choice of events.  We hope this partnership will help raise additional funding for conservation work, to restore and maintain these historic buildings and landscapes for generations to come". National Trust of Guernsey members enjoy free entrance & parking to all UK National Trust and word-wide National Trust sites.

Each venue will have a dedicated Rhubarb event planner to oversee all aspects of an event, such as themed balls, weddings and private dinners.
