Willow-weaving success at Les Caches Farm

Heritage

Another fantastic heritage skills workshop has taken place at our beautifully restored property, Les Caches Farm, led by the talented father-daughter weaving duo, Max and Claire Gaudion.

We are incredibly grateful to Max and Claire for their dedication to preserving Guernsey’s rich heritage, passing down the traditional craft of willow-weaving to a new generation of learners.

A huge thank you also goes to our enthusiastic participants, whose stunning creations—captured in these photos—are a testament to their skill, patience, and creativity.

These handcrafted Ponier à Cou baskets will last a lifetime, along with special memories and invaluable skills that can be shared for generations to come. Thank you to all who took part!
