Creve Coeur and No. 79

There are several parcels of Trust land on the Chouet peninsula. The small hut 'No. 79' is a former ICI explosives store and is probably the most northerly located property on Guernsey. The adjoining rise of land, Creve Coeur, is shortly to be returned to the National Trust of Guernsey having been leased to the States of Guernsey within a landfill site nearly 30 years ago. It is possible to walk around the peninsular with unencumbered sea views and, as the crow flies ... next stop Weymouth.

Information

Whilst it is possible to walk around the perimeter of Creve Coeur, the rise of land is presently inaccessible to the general public. Plans are underway with States of Guernsey to prepare its return to the Trust, and future possibilities for this remarkable land area are being considered by the Trust. Nearby parking is available.
