Limited parking is available at a car park marking the entrance to The Ron Short Walk with Le Petit Pré just a short walk away.

The Ron Short Walk is named after the former Trust Council member who instigated this project. Steps lead up from a small car park to various winding pathways, which in turn lead to an elevated site with seats overlooking this rural area. You can descend by a path further along the main valley road. To find Le Petit Pré, walk left from the car park or the far end of The Ron Short Walk and access the meadow through a wooden gate on the valley side of the road. There is a seat overlooking the valley and a pond at the lower end, known as the Pegasus Pond. In Spring, wild orchids bloom and the meadow is correctly described as a quiet, contemplative spot.
