Les Ecrilleurs and Le Coemy

Half a mile or so beyond La Prévôté, lie the neighbouring spots of Le Coemy and Les Ecrilleurs.

Le Coemy – a green field land area with easy access from a lane near to La Prévôté – has a picnic table and enjoys outstanding sea views. Further along, Les Ecrilleurs is accessed by joining a cliff path, with this unmissable spot in plain sight.

Both places are also accessible from the Torteval main road, but without parking. A circular route, encompassing La Prévôté, Les Ecrilleurs and Le Coemy will appeal to enthusiastic walkers, parking at La Prévôté.

For those wanting a long hike, it is also possible to include Les Tielles. Parking is possible at La Prévôté and Les Tielles, both accessed via narrow lanes leading from the main Torteval road. We strongly advise navigating to these sites using GPS coordinates, as their outstanding positions are difficult to describe.

Information

Half a mile or so beyond La Prévôté, lie the neighbouring spots of Les Ecrilleurs and Le Coemy with outstanding cliff and sea views. Both are accessed from the cliff path and lead up to the main road. For an extended walk, Les Tielles might be included.

On a clear, bright day, all areas offer distant views of Jersey and France. We advise navigating to these sites using GPS coordinates, as their off the beaten track locations are nearly impossible to articulate. Once discovered, these areas are rarely forgotten and frequently revisited.
