Around the edges of The Button Pushers NTG Summer Courtyard Concert 2018

What happens around the edges of The Courtyard, makes the difference between a good evening and a great evening. This post is warmly dedicated to our stallholders and audience who came along to Wednesday 18th July's concert when Irish Folk Band, The Button Pushers, produced a great set, generating lots of smiles and foot-tapping.

Lé Viaër Marchi 2018 - the true spirit of A Guernsey Evening lives on

The National Trust of Guernsey would like to thank the many thousands of people who came along to its 49th Lé Viaër Marchi, last evening. We are still counting numbers, but it looks as though around 6,000+ visitors enjoyed  a fine evening, celebrating the very best of Guernsey heritage, through music, song and traditional stalls of all kinds.

Thanks to our Volunteers who make Lé Viaër Marchi happen

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the many volunteers, helping with Lé Viaër Marchi at Saumarez Park, where around 6,000 people annually pass through the gates and enjoy a fine Guernsey Evening, celebrating the best of Island traditions. Inspired by Founder Member Peggy Carey OBE, in 1970, this popular event, is now looked after by her grandson Andrew Carey, as President of Lé Viaër Marchi Committee.
