Join us at a truly fantastic location for the simple pleasure of family kite flying.  The forecast is looking good, so dig your kites out and come along with family and friends to one of NT Guernsey's most outstanding field locations.  Directions:  With Fleur du Jardin, Kings Mills on your right, turn left up hill almost opposite.  Take first left into lane, take 2nd turning on left into track/lane.  Plenty parking.

We're Open at Folk & Costume Museum!

We were delighted to greet one of our Patrons, Lieutenant Governor Air Marshal Peter Walker and Mrs. Walker who, today, declared NTG's Folk & Costume Museum open for 2014 Season.Exhibitions for 2014 will include  a "1914 display" to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of WWI through a Guernsey family on the brink of war.There will also be an exhibition marking 300 years from the start of the Georgian era with a selction of clothes from this period dating from 1746 onwards. These will include the exquisite coat of Baliwick born Paul Le Mesurier, 18th century Lord Mayor of London.By popular demand the Trust's Lace Collection will also once again be on display at the museum this year.This is all in addition to the extensive permanent displays whether you're interested in finding out more about the heritage of Guernsey's people or want to find out the history that makes the 'Guernsey' the iconic item of island clothing that it is.Drop in and see what else is new in 2014 at the Folk & Costume Museum!Opening times: 10.00am - 5.00pm    18th March - 2nd November 10.00am - 5.30pm    1st June - 31st August Last entries 45 minutes before closingEntry Fees: Adults £5.00, OAP's £4.00 Children 6-18 yrs: £1.50 Children under 6:  FREE National Trust (Worldwide) and La Societe Guernesiaise Members:  FREENTG's Folk & Costume Museum & Shop are located at Saumarez Park, Castel.
