The National Trust of Guernsey is immensely grateful to Guernsey Conservation Volunteers for their help on our land areas each year.
GCV help clear overgrown areas ready for Spring growth, streams are cleared and boggy areas thinned out for better water-flow, to name but a few of the items on the NTG Lands action list.
In recognition of their invaluable work, NTG Treasurer Ian McCathie, presented a cheque to GCV's Angela Salmon, at the end of a week when we didn't know if we would be able to see a fern bank, for snow. Despite miserable weather, it was very much 'business-as-usual' for GCV, pictured here at Le Bigard.
