Courtyard Concerts: two contrasting performances this week

National Trust of Guernsey Courtyard Concerts for this week, present two contrasting musical styles – both with broad appeal. On Monday 17 July, we are delighted to host Bolt&Owen who will sing, sax, whistle and squeeze their way through a repertoire of traditional English folk music. A foot-tapping feisty performance, is on the way. The Courtyard belongs to classical vocalist Lee-Ann Hawkes on Thursday 20 July, when Lee-Ann will present a repertoire of firm favourites, sure to warm the heart and enjoy The Courtyard in a mellow fashion. For artistes and audiences, The Courtyard offers superb acoustics and a beautiful heritage environment in which to enjoy all Courtyard Concerts. Some seating is provided but for your own comfort, feel free to bring along chairs and rugs and possibly a picnic too. Traditional courtyard games are laid out for children to enjoy, together with an opportunity to dress up in Island costume. An event for all the family and friends to enjoy, in a beautiful heritage setting with the superb acoustic environment, afforded by The Courtyard. It means a great deal to The National Trust of Guernsey that this unique place, which we treasure and protect, can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, now and throughout each year.  Easy access Plenty of parking Facilities and refreshments just a short stroll away Free admission How to find us: Saumarez Park, Castel, GY5 7UJ (Perry’s Guide Map 15G2) Accessible using the following bus routes: 41 and 42 Buses leave the Town Terminus every 15 minutes.
