The event also celebrates the contribution, inspiration and vision of Advocate Walter Langlois and relations, Richard Heaume and Gillian Lenfestey. Bequeathed to the Trust by Ruth Le Huray, in 1993, the farm buildings at Les Caches have, from acquisition to completion, taken over twenty years to restore, at a cost of around a million pounds. The Trust hopes that this significant property restoration, situated at a picturesque hamlet in the heart of Guernsey’s countryside, will be enjoyed by many people for generations to come, in many different ways.
