The Breedijk Fields at National Trust of Guernsey land at Le Gouffre are spectacular right now. This beautifully located area is perfect for walking, picnicking and enjoying dens. Whatever the time of year, there's the rare aspect of a sea view from a sheltered area. Take the cliff steps up from the restaurant at Le Gouffre and look out for the National Trust of Guernsey stone, shortly on your right. Follow the path all the way around and enjoy what we know as 'the sweetheart field'. Even better, take a rug, settle the children with some cloud busting and go investigate the dens. Perfect for a nature walk and hide and seek. The National Trust of Guernsey are grateful to the Breedijk family for their generous donation of land, protected for everyone to enjoy, in perpetuity. If you're planning a bus route, take a look at Buses.gg App for nearest stop. Alight at the Forest Stores just before the airport, look for the Forest Church spire and follow the road around, take a left at the T-junction and head down to Le Gouffre Restaurant. NTG's path is a little up the steps from there. In all - a 20 min light walk from the bus stop.
