We learn today that plans to re-build Idlerocks Hotel as a 5* eco-hotel have been given the go-ahead. Most people agree that anything is better than the burnt out ruins that sit there at the moment and we're pleased that some planning issues of concern have been addressed. Undoubtedly this is a challenging build on a spectacular site.
