Church House is a tiny gem of a building tucked away next door to St Sampson’s Parish Church. It stands, quiet but remarkable, next to the cemetery and was built to the highest standard of cut Guernsey granite and used by London based John Mowlem & Co Ltd., granite quarriers and exporters during the Industrial Revolution.
One of two properties at this site, Church House has benefitted from full conservation and restoration to meet modern standards and expectations for an occupied dwelling. It will soon be privately tenanted, providing a valuable source of income for the Trust.
