Come and see not only the objects that make up the Island’s most comprehensive social history record of the last 250 years, but also hear local personal stories that can further bring the objects to life. Get an insight into the origins of the museum, it’s growth over the last 50 years and a look forward into the future, with dedicated museum staff telling some of the behind the scenes stories that have characterised the museum over the last 50 years.
