We're closed for the winter and preparing for Spring 2017

Following a highly enjoyable and busy festive season, the National Trust of Guernsey properties at Saumarez Park and 26 Cornet Street are now closed before reopening in Spring 2017. Putting the Christmas Shops together is always a highlight of our year and both shops have been very well visited. We are grateful to those who have visited, as your footfall and support are important to, and much appreciated by the National Trust of Guernsey staff and volunteers. The Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park, will re-open on Wednesday 15th March at 10am and the Victorian Shop and Parlour at 26, Cornet Street, St. Peter Port, opens on Tuesday 18th April also at 10am. Our properties may be closed, but there's always a lot going on behind the scenes during these quieter winter months.  2017 marks an important anniversary in the timeline of National Trust of Guernsey, celebrating sixty years since the Trust's incorporation in 1967. We'll be sharing news of events as soon as possible and as always, look forward to welcoming existing and new members, friends and families throughout the forthcoming year. For now though, we can only reiterate our thanks for your support and couldn't sign off 2016 without also saying a big thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Folk and Costume Museum and 26 Cornet Street for providing such enjoyable and popular venues, both representing the National Trust of Guernsey in the best possible way. Volunteer help is always needed and always welcomed. Our work is very wide-ranging and the chances are that something that you enjoy doing, from the fine art of needlework to regularly walking cliff paths, may be very helpful to us. If you'd like to know more about how to get involved, we'd love to hear from you. Please call our Trust Co-ordinator Jemma Field on  07781 106461 or email. With all good wishes for 2017. National Trust of Guernsey.
