Lé Viaër Marchi 2025 is nearly here!

A Celebration of Guernsey’s Past That Brings Everyone Together Today

Monday 7th July might sound like a while away, but for us, preparations have been long underway – and we can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s Viaër Marchi at Saumarez Park.

More than just a heritage event, Lé Viaër Marchi is affectionately regarded as the true start of Guernsey’s summer. It’s an evening that brings thousands together for a nostalgic, heartwarming celebration of island traditions – from craft demonstrations and live music to local food, folk dancing and community spirit.

This beloved event has also been the National Trust of Guernsey’s main fundraiser since 1970. Your support helps us to protect and preserve Guernsey’s heritage – independently, apolitically and with no government funding. Every penny raised helps us continue the work started in 1960 to safeguard the best of Guernsey for generations to come.

Free parking is available at Home Farm Field, and there’s a bumper crop of delicious local fare this year – come hungry!

Be sure to visit us at the National Trust of Guernsey tent, where you’ll find stalls from The Victorian Shop at 26 Cornet Street, and The Folk and Costume Museum.
