Lt-Governor Peter Walker CB CBE, Patron at NTG's Viaer Marchi It was with the greatest of sadness that we learned of the untimely death of our Patron, Guernsey's Lt-Governor Peter Walker CB CBE. President Martin Ozanne will represent the National Trust of Guernsey at Lt-Governor Air Marshal Peter Walker's service of thanksgiving and farewell at the Town Church on Tuesday 15th September. Council Members will join the island guard of honour at the Quay and we encourage members to pay their respects to Peter Walker, whose support for NTG was cheerful, unstinting and will be intensely missed. Our deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to Lynda Walker and family, also to the staff at Government House and other organisations who enjoyed Peter's support. We are also thinking of Peter's beloved dog Henri who will be missing his master.
