Planning Inquiry into draft Island Development Plan

"Guernsey Tomorrow" is the phrase widely used to describe the objectives of Environment's Island Development Plan, the draft of which was published this week on Monday 15th February. Having read the draft IDP and reviewed the Proposals Map, all islanders are encouraged to submit their representations.  For those of you who have already had sight of the draft Island Development Plan and Proposals Map, you may concur that it's a voluminous tome requiring some navigation.  If you have representations to submit, the following two events may be helpful in answering any questions about how to proceed. The Planning Inquiry Admin Team have organised a number of presentations on how to engage with the Planning Inquiry, including familiarisation with the consultation portal and how to make representations. Presentation dates: Wednesday 25th February 2015 and Thursday 5th March 2015 Venue:  Reading Room, Les Cotils Christian Centre, St. Peter Port Time:  7.00pm - for about an hour Space is limited in the Reading Room, so any NTG members wishing to attend are asked to email: planninginquiry@gov.gg indicating numbers and which evening they will be attending. National Trust of Guernsey Council Members will be attending either or both of those evenings.  A helpful short introduction Environment's draft Island Development Plan can be found by clicking: Planning Inquiry - Short Introduction A guide to using the Online Portal to submit representations can be found by clicking: Using the Online Consultation Form More information at:  www.gov.gg/planninginquiry
