THE NTG MUSEUM CHRISTMAS SHOP 2017

The National Trust of Guernsey’s Museum Christmas Shop at Saumarez Park, will throw open its doors at 10am on Friday 17th November 2017, for what is sure to be a busy and much-enjoyed Christmas season.

Our unique Christmas shop, based in beautiful heritage surroundings and set up with great flair by talented shop manageresses Ann Segers and Dorothe Lord, is sure to delight those who seek a charming and unusual array of stock. Creative Christmas decorators will enjoy browsing a wide selection of garlands, baubles, tree decorations (some edible) and miniature wooden Christmas scenes. A delicious variety of continental treats will appeal to lovers of all things chocolate which include the annually firm favourites of orange slices dipped in Belgian chocolate, cherry liqueurs, smartly wrapped chocolate ‘tin’ soldiers, Florentines and much more. Traditional toys, guaranteed to bring out the child in all of us are displayed throughout the Christmas shop and include wooden toys, models, potato guns, family games, books and puppets to name but a few. Our range of popular and traditional sweets, is expanded at Christmas and includes Turkish Delight, Chocolate ‘tin’ Soldiers and, as usual, we are over run with mice … the sugar variety. The Museum Christmas Shop offers a vibrant and delightful array of seasonal goodies, many of which are uniquely supplied to the National Trust of Guernsey. Shop early to avoid disappointment as stocks are limited and the firm favourites are fast to disappear.

The National Trust of Guernsey would like to thank Dorothe Lord and Ann Segers for, once again, sourcing a wonderful supply of Christmas items from UK and international suppliers. Their talent at setting up what one of Guernsey’s prettiest Christmas shops, is evident from the minute any visitor steps through the Museum’s original farmhouse doorway.
