An unmissable Guernsey wildflower meadow passed yesterday in the parish of the Forest - and even more beautiful today. There's been a woodpecker around for the last month and now- a Cuckoo! Clear as a bell ... hadn't heard one for about 6 years.
The Swallows are back and young Bluetits learning to fly a wider loop ... barn wall - Rhododendron -'bigger tree' - back home - (last blog, it was just to the Rhodie)
Summer is definitely a comin'in with Madam Cuckoo and, that is, music to the ears.
