Songs of The Great War fill Guernsey's unique Parlour at 26 Cornet Street

A proper parlour ... this is how a parlour should be!'

– so exclaimed international mezzo-soprano Patricia Hammond, as she took to the floor with Matt Redman and introduced a spontaneous and delightful concert on Saturday 29th April 2017, at National Trust of Guernsey's Victorian Shop and Parlour at 26 Cornet Street, St. Peter Port.  'Songs of The Great War' filled the room, with a repertoire of rare and poignant songs, plus happy sing-alongs. This vibrant, intimate concert brought a shining atmosphere to the parlour, which felt very much at home and in its proper skin. We'd love to fill our unique parlour with more like this. So, musical artists, soloists or small groups, please contact admin@nationaltrust.gg for opportunities to share your talent, in the same brilliant way. Join the Concert Patricia Hammond Matt Redman
