"We were really delighted when we heard what the National Trust Guernsey were doing to preserve the green spaces of our beautiful island. Since the Crowd funding campaign has started near a time when Peter is having an exhibition at the Coach house Gallery and the book about his work is being launched, it seemed a wonderful opportunity to be able to support this campaign by donating a picture to raise some funds for it."
We are so thrilled and grateful to hear that Peter Le Vasseur will donate the proceeds of one of his soon-to-be exhibited paintings to National Trust of Guernsey’s Land Acquisition Fund. Since his early days as an artist and over the last sixty years, Peter's paintings have gained worldwide recognition and are often linked to environmental issues.
Peter's exhibition and the launch of a new book 'A Brush with Life' by Jason Monaghan, opens at The Coach-house Gallery, Les Islet, St. Pierre-du-Bois on Sunday 28th August, attended by Lieutenant Governor, Lt. Gen. Richard Cripwell, CB, CBE.
We fully appreciate the link between Mr. Le Vasseur's passion for the environment and our campaign to preserve Guernsey's green fields and landscapes.
Thank you Peter.
