We are pleased to share a copy of our Spring 2022 Newsletter detailing the work of the Trust since Autumn 2021 – a copy can be seen here.
Perhaps 2022 will be the start of the 'new normal' which for our small part, we can boost to a 'great new normal' with free admission to the Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park. Amongst the annual Costume Collections, permanent exhibitions and art exhibitions, a real insight into Guernsey's past history, social trends and existing expertise can be enjoyed.
Readers will learn a great deal about Trust work that goes on behind the scenes, particularly land and heritage property conservation projects. We are a small team assisted by invaluable volunteers from all sectors of our Island community. We could not work apace without this help and also the support of our Members.
We hope that many people around the world will enjoy reading this Newsletter as it goes some way to explaining quite a lot about the National Trust of Guernsey and our dear Island. Each year we look forward to sharing our trust properties and lands with all visitors from near and far – and 2022 takes pole position for a particularly hearty welcome.
