Originally a small 'Guernsey Evening' hosted on the courtyard at The Folk Museum back in the 1970's, our Old Guernsey Market (Viaër Marchi) has grown into an embedded annual event, heralding the start of Guernsey's summer shows. National Trust of Guernsey takes great pride in showcasing many Island heritage skills and traditions, in craft, music, dance and song, together with stalls producing Guernsey's favourite foods. Erstwhile, our Bric-a-Brac marquee is most interesting, with queues at the tent doors, before opening. It's always a bit of a secret, even to us! Huge thanks are owed to Team Bric-a-Brac who steadfastly gather notable items throughout the year. For a real flavour of the best of Guernsey, come along to Lé Viaër Marchi, to share our True Guernsey Evening and support the National Trust of Guernsey. Fond memories are guaranteed. You'll be surprised who you bump into and what you come away with. Date: Monday 2nd July, 2018 Venue: Saumarez Park and The Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park Time: 5:00pm – sunset Cost: Adult entrance to Lé Viaër Marchi £6 – children under the age of 15, accompanied by an adult, FREE No entrance charge at The Folk and Costume Museum #viaermarchi
