Visitors to The Great Laxey Wheel, a brilliant example of Victorian engineering, built in 1854 to pump water from the Laxey mines. National Trust of Guernsey Members benefit from free entry to properties under the care of Manx National Heritage with a Reciprocal Agreement signed between the two organisations today, Wednesday 1st July 2020.
Likewise, Manx National Heritage (MNH) Members will enjoy free entry to the Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park, the only pay-for-entry site managed by National Trust of Guernsey. Following talks between the respective island governments, twice-weekly flights between Guernsey and the Isle of Man are now available to book, with visitors set to travel through the air corridor established between the two covid-free Crown Dependencies. Flights by Aurigny, with no quarantine requirements on either side are offered between Wednesday 22nd July and Sunday 30th August.
