Update re Talbot Valley Ron Short Walk: Good news and not so good news … Adam, our brilliant lands man, has managed to clear the upper path at Ron Short Walk and one route down.
Another length needs a bit more work before we can reopen a limited walk.
Unfortunately, the direct route upwards from the small car park will probably remain closed for about six months, as steps lifted by fallen tree roots, need to be rebuilt. There is a possibility that the path may need to be re-routed, but we await the advice of tree surgeons before planning the work.
We apologise for any inconvenience and endeavour to return these parts of Ron Short Walk to you as soon as possible. Please share this news with fellow-walkers who usually enjoy this path.
